do you get a sponser later into the game and is it a good storyline?

Basically you're in a lineup of about 200 skaters and you start at rank #200, you rank up by beating missions. You'll randomly get sponsered by random companies when you complete a certain amount of missions. There's hardly any story, not like there was in THUG. Basically you try to get to the top 8 to be in Tony Hawks Project 8.

i played the demo of the next gen version wen this first came out, then i went out and got the PS2 version of this game and it was horrible. i mean i thought i would atleast be able to play online!
