  • Oh man.. so sorry to hear this Rick.. very glad to see you are ok.. will email you more later.. speedy recovery mate.

  • @Trainboy64 - Thank you Rob. I had my face surgery on Sept 12th and everything went well. I'm just waiting for the feeling to come back in my face. I feel like I've been to the dentist with my face all numb, and it don't wear off. I really hope the feeling comes back soon, The Dr. said it's all up to the nerve now. I find out Friday if I need surgery on my ankle. It's been a really rough road, but I am on the mend very slowly. Thanks again Rob!

  • @UtRadioGuy Yes, nerves can take months to heal..I lost all sensation in my left thumb in a minor motorcycle accident, but three months later, I just woke up one day and it was back again.. God speed good health you.

  • @Trainboy64 - Thank you Rob! You are a true friend, and thank you for your comments. BTW...I figured while I was down with all my injuries I would send in my DX8 for the gimbal recall. It made it to Horizon yesterday the 20th. How long did you have to wait to get yours back? It would be nice to have it to fly my little Mcx2 heli while I lay in bed all day, and I didn't think about that until after I sent the radio in. I'm really sick of watching the TV. But each day is a tiney bit better

  • I'm so sorry to learn what has happened to you. But yes, you are lucky for sure. It could have been much worse. You look like you are being very strong throughout your injuries. Thank you for sharing this video with us and the update. Beautiful scenery out that window. Stay strong, Rick. You have been doing good so far. Stay strong and I hope for a full recovery.

  • @UtRadioGuy They were very fast with my DX8 gimbal replacement.. I had it back in less than 10 days. Yes, flying indoors would help pass the time. I know that feeling of being bedridden..

  • OMG Rick you were one lucky guy indeed, to have survived such a Horrible Crash, all the best for a speedy recovery, our Prayers are with you buddy

  • Oh my...you flew forty feet in a car? Thank god nobody hit you. Good luck with your recovery, I will be thinking about you!
