Many of these techniques are not real martial arts techniques from Lichtenauer or any other historical fencing tradition. They are only stage techniques for visual effect, but ineffective in real fight.

The swords are made of HS50 Steel. I'm not sure what you mean by rat pommel, but the blade and tang are forged from one piece of steel and are designed to survive strong hitting ;-)

das ist so ziemlich die beste Vorführung mit dem langen Schwert die ich kenne.
Natürlich sind auch alle anderen Videos von euch äusserst gut.
