Thanks for the update. When I wrote that comment half a year ago, I didn't know that Oleg would join IRIS.

I read that Tatiana fractured her hip in an accident and left the show. Oleg (the guy) switched over to Corteo until he left that show in 2009. Both no longer work for Cirque or with each other. Random fact, but Oleg and Tatiana also worked together in Quidam's original banquine act before they went to Varekai. If you watch their performance in the Quidam DVD, you'll notice similar acrobatic moves between that act and this one because Oleg was the one who created this act for Varekai.

  • I LOVE this one. I don't know why they got rid of it. The story behind the act is a little sad though. The man is the puppeteer and the girl is a puppet of his that comes to life. He falls in love with her, but every time the act is over, the puppet goes back to sleep and forgets everything that happened. It's supposedly based on the ballet of Petrushka.

Still, such a beautiful act. I am SO glad I got the DVD with this act still on it.

  • @juanmanuelhm

Crap, what did they replace it with?
