Chantix - 1 Month off Cigarettes

My 28th day - one month - off cigarettes while taking Chantix. I couldn't be more please with the medication.

I've tried not smoking without anything, Just cold cut.

I Had about the worst depression of all time, Even when i was bullied it wasn't this bad. It was absolute shit, I Do regret starting again. and plan on quitting soon.

@SafeguardHD I got some depression too but it went away when I cut my dose. A guy at work had the same problem and had to stop the medicine. It's a shame the side effects can be so severe for some people since it really helps cut the smoking desire. Good luck on quitting.

@1993foxyroxy I put on probably a total of 15 pounds after quitting. I ate all the chocolate and candy I wanted. I've since dropped about 25 pounds through diet and exercise. I think everybody gains weight after quitting but then you feel so good off cigarettes exercise becomes enjoyable. I've been quit for 21 months so far and still have nothing but good things to say about Chantix.

today was my first pill.. I feel wierd, and just cannot imagine "going up" in dosage.

How much did you smoke?? prior?

Usually about a pack a day for 15+ years. I too felt strange on the first day but the second was better and the third I felt normal. I didn't have a problem until day seven when I went to the 1mg pill twice daily. I had to cut back to 1/2 mg twice daily and the weird feelings went away. See how you do for a few days before passing judgement especially to see what happens with your cravings. You may be one that can do with a lower dose of medicine.

i only used mine for 5 weeks , and was forced off of it due to uninformed so called doctors who were more interested in covering ther butt than saving a live

and i still dont smoke , keep up the good work

I've been quit 30 days today! Chantix has worked for me. Anyone that's watching these videos and riding the fence......go ahead and get a prescription! Don't delay, this really has been a miracle pill for me.
