  • Was there ever a Robocop 3 on the Amstrad?

  • @LarryBundyJr I believe it was at the very least 'planned' but dropped fairly quickly after the console was a failure. Maybe some early code exists - there's a news article in Amstrad Action about it's development but with only small details I have a vague memory of. To be honest it was lucky the Speccy and C64 got a release of this given it was so late in the day - Ive played the Speccy version and my thoughts were 'rush job'.

  • nice compilation and commentary. and what a shocker at #1 :-D

  • @MustNotRead Thank you! :D

  • Just realised these Top 10 videos are from last year......I looked at the April part and presumed it was 2011.....lol

Anyway, nice chpices - great to see Chase HQ high up in the list. I'd personally add Druid, Emlyn Hughes International Soccer and Who Dares Wins II into a Top 10 CPC games list but as you say, this list is your personal favourite so it's all a matter of opinions! :)

  • @bluetonic78 Yea sorry mate I have Part 1 as the default video on my channel page so it's an easy mistake :) Druid to be honest, I've never played much! Perhaps I'll go look at that again soon as was just reading an article on it recently. Emlyn Hughes - yea that *just* missed out too - it is the best footy game on the CPC and I LOVE my footy games so perhaps I'm a bit harsher on them as I've always wanted a CPC version of World Cup 90 but never mind. I think Commando is better than WDW2 IMHO :S

  • No No, I didn't program Chase HQ, I did the graphics :)

  • some good stuff in there but no dizzy?

  • @tazong Really? Would it be have been possible to have ported the Amiga/Atari ST version to the Amstrad?

  • @LarryBundyJr i remember article in amstrad action i think it was about robocop 3 - if i remember rightly it was like a 3d type game that had flying sections with a jetpack - remember thinking at the time that this will be awesome - i dont think it ever saw the light of day.

  • @Xyphoe Really? That's surprising from Ocean as they normally did pretty decent jobs of their games. What was the final Ocean Spectrum and Amstrad game out of curiosity?

Also the Master System version of Robocop 3 goes for about £100 on eBay, it's apparently uber rare.

  • I never to this day understood what people saw in "head over Heels". But most of your top 20 would have been in mine too, but definitley Rainbow Islands SHOULD have been in there. And where was Xyphoes Fantasy?
