im retired navy and it seems a better idea to get the world to not only condemn the fishing of whales or research and make it against international law - because these two parties will end up killing thier crew(s) and what of it - stop playing games and get obama to help out along with the state deptment - thats how its done - stop playing capt crunch and oko bonzi out there!!!

The Shonan Maru#2 video has been edited and deliberately altered. Usually we keep the subject in the center field. This video has no credibility what so ever! It has obviously been whacked! The only part you see are those favorable to the whalers.

Navigational Rules do not grant privileges...they impose responsibilities. It's the responsibility of the more maneuverable vessel to stay clear of the less maneuverable vessel. Clearly both vessels were under way...just look at the wake of the Ady Gil. The fact that Bethune put his "sports car like" trimaran in the vicinity of a huge cumbersome fishing vessel, and can't manage to stay out of the way, proves he's an idiot. The same goes for Paul Watson. It seems to be all about the ratings.
