My bike doesnt have a quick release skewer- how would i attach it safely? (in lame mans terms since i know literally nothing about bikes :-) ) thanks

@mommyof2monkeyboys It would be most helpful to know what kind of bike you have but for bikes that don't have a quick release skewer, you can still bolt the Bicycle Trailer Kit onto your bike as long as there are enough threads on your bike. We also have Internal Hub Hitch Adapters. I hope this helps!

If your bike has a solid axle, you can likely attach the hitch cup directly to your solid axle. If there are not enough threads, your local bike store will likely have a longer solid axle. Or, if your bike has an internal hub, one of our internal hub hitch adapters should do the trick (these can be ordered through your local Chariot retailer).

What i don't get is why not make a cup design that does not hitch on the axle. The cup is on the side anyways. No real point in having it there. It could be placed in other places of lesser importance. Attaching something to the rear axle is never a smart thing. Meh.

Excellent video. This video show me that this is the bike trailer for my and my 10mth old daughter. I have been looking for a bike trailer that doesn't have a spring hitch like my dog trailer. because the spring hitche system is horrible for the rider, this ball hitch system looks awesome, i can't wait to order my CX1 trailer, burgundy.
