Hi, the first one seemed to generate a bit of interest, so here's another - this time it's more about sound than technique but hopefully still of interest to Genesis fans!

Hi Doug, I bought an m-tron, and tried installing it on my laptop, but I got an error message. Do you know anythinng about this> I need someone's help as I am not a musician, and have never own any kind of synthesizer. Thanks.

I have an XP-30 with the "60s & 70s Keyboards" expansion card and it does have many awesome m-tron patches. I'm just wondering if this the board and card you're using here. Thanks.

@KevindyII Sorry, for some reason I was never notified that you wrote back, so it's taken me four months to come back to this video, haha. I've seen Phish's version; it's decent. Not quite as good as the original of course, but I'm glad to see bands paying tribute to Genesis! Hope you worked out your M-Tron problems.

I tried it on my PC3-X and it did the trick! Never thought of putting it through a lesley. You can all hear proof of it on the 8th of January 2011 in the Boerderij in Holland when we (Genesis Project) will perform The Lamb and probably Watcher as well. Thanks !

@KevindyII What operating system are you trying to install it on? I had a bit of trouble installing mine onto a macbook, had to download an updated version from G-Force's site to get it to work.

@dougmelbourne Thanks I didn't spend to much time on it i may do one with a better take at some point but I did manage to gain access to a whole library of MKII samples which was helpful
