Never Take Friendship Personal is the second album released by the alternative rock band Anberlin. This album was chosen as one of Amazon.com's Top 100 Editor's Picks of 2005. Its singles were "A Day Late" and "Paperthin Hymn" and music videos have been made of each. "(The Symphony of) Blasé" is sometimes referred to as "Amsterdam". The album's name is inspired by when the band chose to remove guitarist Joey Bruce.

@TheGuitarHeroMike Thanks Mike! I've had this guitar for quite a few years, it was actually my brothers [he was the one who wanted to learn but didn't and I did.]
It's a Fender Squire Strat that was part of a starter kit. The amp I play these covers on was a part of that starter kit as well.

@andros1984 I've seen quite a few bands that deserve the recognition of mainstream but the fact is the media has this pick and choose attitude. If it doesn't have anything to do with what's big today then out the window it goes.
Bands like Anberlin don't really need mainstream attention. Last time I went to an Anberlin concert, there were plenty of supporters there.
Besides, it's not about mainstream anymore. It's all about youtube, facebook and us.
We are the mainstream.
