No one is going to "save" you but you. God is within you; did you miss that passage in Sunday school? Look it up, read it, meditate on it then ask God what the meaning is. @noblenabil jesus is god in the flesh who came down to earth to die for our sin,..you may as why god can to earth to do that? First because he loves us, and second is be cause the bible says sin is death and god can't lie so he came down threw a virgin which was clean and got put on the cross to die for our sins

The statue was burnt by the request of Jesus because he felt a shame before his God and the God of the universe when he sees people worship him in stead of the True One God .
