@birdiejoehoaks I guess you got a pretty good point there. They're both just pretty versatile great players.

@DaveCavalier So many roads

@Fendershred50 Eric Johnson is sort of a blues guitarist, in the same way bonamassa is. EJ has some blues tracks where he sounds a LOT like bonamassa (or i suppose its the other way around). Still, they share a lot of common ground

@Grego4nier the greatest.

Im getting soooo fed up with people sayng who´s the best guitarist..... Come on guys, you may have YOUR favourite player, but that doesnt mean he´s the Muhammed Ali of all guitarplayers in the world.
Lets face it, there are a huge amont of great guitarplayers from past to present that have contributed to the evolution of this great instrument, so lets enjoy them, instead of always have a war about who´s the greatest. ;)

Anyone know the name of this song??

Joe is a monster player and puts on a very entertaining show. Some guys are amazing players but just wail away without being able to engage the audience. I think that sets Joe apart, he really puts on a show.

One of the greatest guitarists today.

@frennis That's not entirely true, a lot of EJ's songs require deep amounts of concentration to play, so that could be why he doesn't have a large amount of stage presence, but either way, could you see EJ prancing around the stage yelling at the crowd? And he has a nice voice, but I don't see how anyone could compare these two, Eric is not a blues guitarist.
