Oi giria giria. Singing of Lithuanian folklore singer Rasa Serra.
group DONIS & RASA SERRA
AWARDS/Apdovanojimai:
A.LT 2006 y. - The best ETHNO group in Lithuania.
A.LT 2006 m. - GERIAUSIAS ETNO ATLIKĖJAS.

And the very simplified translation might sound like this: "The little green woods are full of little birds. Not here the little cuckoo built her nest, not here she sang her melodies. In the little garden of cherries she built her nest, in the birch trees she used to sing. Not here my little mother promised (offered) me to a man but in a little village, promised me to a young nice man but then she gave me in marriage to a widower instead..." Translation @feastas

  • @AzzieSempai To me, it sounds like a mixture of Russian and Turkish. Hn. Maybe not this song as much, as it is slower-paced.. I like your take on it, though.

  • Somehow it sounds cool :)... the language is like... i dont know .. to me it sounds like amixture between french and croatian ...beautiful :)

  • @Kingaras

Tikrai tradicijos gyvuoja ir jas netgi labai jaunimas megsta. Suraskite cia Pašėlę Lietuviški šokiai (diskoteka mokykloje kitaip ) ir pamatysite kaip viskas smagu! ;)
