In this video I describe why I left the teachings of Pentecostalism. I was formerly licensed and ordained as a Pentecostal preacher until I came to a crossroads of having to either accept the Bible or accept my religious beliefs of Pentecostalism. I chose to stand with God.

  • who cares, tongues is a gift of the spirit....you should be praying for all and any gift of the spirit, so whats the big deal? If you speak in tongues, more power to you! Sounds to me like you are trying to prove to yourself you dont need to, which makes me wonder if you have felt lead at one time that you should be. Otherwise why do you have so much passion in the subject? Specially since it is a gift of the spirit

  • @TheMovieEditor

Modern "tongues" like the ones I used to speak with daily as a Pentecostal are not the same as the tongues mentioned in the Bible. Gibberish is not tongues.

  • @ACallToHoliness Why were you speaking gibberish if you knew it wasnt real? May I ask what lead you to speak"gibberish" the very first time? Did you feel that you had to pretend to speak in a unknown tongue or do you feel God took over and without your doing took over it?

  • @TheMovieEditor

I didn't know it wasn't real at the time. I was 100% convinced it was the truth. Years later I examined my experiences and the experiences of the Pentecostal movement to the Scriptures and concluded that the tongues Pentecostals speak with today are NOT the tongues of the Bible. They bear NO resemblance to Biblical tongues. I was deceived, and if you are speaking in Pentecostal tongues so are you.

  • @TheMovieEditor

Watch the video is explains in detail the Book of Acts and how what the Pentecostal religion teaches about tongues is not Biblical.

  • The minute any individual accepts Christ, they receive the Holy Spirit, since God is Father/Son/Spirit, it only makes sense, that if you receive the Son, you receive the fullness of God. If you don't believe the teaching of the Pentecostals, that's fine, listening to you, I'm sure they are pleased, but being here like this, attacking their Faith, is only causing confusion for would be Christians, and division in the Body of Christ..you will answer for this, be assured..

  • @hquehe

We are commanded to contend against false teachers.

  • ..the Bible specifically says there are many gifts of the Spirit, and the least of these is speaking in tongues, in many other places besides Acts speaks of tongues as being the evidence of the Holy Ghost...you should be very careful of what you preach..regardless of your reasons why you "left" Pentecost for "greener pastures"..you should know..there is no forgiveness for Blasphemy against the Holy Ghost..this is borderline Blasphemy..if not all out..

  • @123surger Oneness pentecostals believe jesus, god, and the holy ghost are the the same. Just god in different forms. Actually, there are 2 beliefs of trinity meanings. If you look up the original meaninanywhere on the web, it means 3 seperate and distict persons. yet today, many trinity believers actually believe the same as oneness pentecostals. We both agree there is only one king of kings, that jesus was God in flesh, and holy spirit is God working in us and through us. One God

  • @TheMariemarie16 Exactly! You believe EXACTLY like me. Pentecostals use the term "manifestations" since there arent 3 "persons" or "people". The original term trinity is that of like the catholic where they believe 3 seperate people make up one God. I believe like you, that God is a spirit, and has taken many forms throughout the bible. I do believe jesus was God, and yet i believe he was also man. The flesh was the "lamb" for our sins.

  • @hquehe Am I ? if I am wrong then nobody I mean nobody is in heaven . But what do I know I am just a preacher , and I started out in First Assembly of God I had to leave full gospel because things were going wrong lots of false teaching. And it is out of control. God will leave the tears with the wheat tell the end. Pray and ask God if I am wrong . Trust Gods word . May God bless you.

  • @cornville2 your wrong..
