in 2006 BBCs Inside Out series made a documentary about Dr Chandys approach and two patients at the Shinwell surgery in Horden which was broadcast on 30 Oct 2006. This BBC documentary lasts 12 minutes (it was 1/3 of a 30 minute programme) and will play within your browser window. It took 20 years for me to get diagnosed with pernicious anemia because the doctors were all so eager to prescribe me anti-depressants, anti-anxiety pills, anti-stomach acid pills...its just frightening now that I look back on it and realize I could have died and they wouldn't have known. I had to figure it out on my own and walk into my doctors office and ask for the anti-intrinsic factor antibody test...after 20 agonizing years of sickness. I missed out on my 20s and 30s due to being sick.

Big pharmaceutics are brainwashing doctors and milking us like cows at the expense of our health and happiness. It took me years to find out what I have.
No doctor would take it seriously even when they have the blood tests under their nose , they didn't see any reason.
2 hours after my first injection I was a different person, I realised I suddenly have the same happy feeling as in my childhood. I can sleep again , the fishbowl that seemed to be around me was gone....thank you internet....

been through CFS, Lyme disease and now B12 testing... all of these are considered by their system as discouraged to test and stepping out of line in the GPs practice...I just can't understand why- all the experts call for more testing. there aren't side effect s of the drugs and they ridiculously cheap in exchange for a persons life.

I think the way to treat someone is find out if they are low in any vitamin, mineral first, then treat the sickness with drugs herbs or whatever works best.
people are being killed because hospitals dont do a full blood test hair test or whatever they do to find out minerals or vitamins in the body.
What pisses me off is after $18000 dollars all they said I needed was nexium.

the health system is fucked up, I went to the hospital 4 times one month
then got a scope down my stomach turns out I have gastritis, so they give me antacids so I start taking them and it helps when the pressure builds up but then I get worse the next day, what ever I took would not let it heal. Now I have been taking b vitamins and Iron along with slippery elm and some magnesium
Its healing fast and other things are feeling better that I never new where wrong with me.
