My dad passed away 15 days before my eleventh birthday, I watched him slowly pass and the images will haunt me forever. He taught me everything I needed to know and still to this day I use the advice he used to give me, that I still remember. Whenever I hear this song it reminds me that hes still here with me. Its been 8 years since. This is such a beautiful song that holds a special place in my heart. I miss him dearly.. and as my dad would say "Don't take any wooden nickles" -rest in paradise

Wow less than a minute into the song and I'm crying. My dad died 13 years ago, I barely knew him. I know he's in a better place but I wish I just had one more day with him. Just to tell him how much i love him and miss him. I love you dad.

My Dad passed away in Dec.2003. At 6:00am I got the call from the nursing home saying he passed. As I was speeding down the highway in the middle of a snow storm I heard this song, I immediately started to cry as I listened to it. It is so odd that this was playing as I was going to see my Dad for the last time. I thank Train for this song as it means so much to me as well as others. <3 As I write this my 94yr.old Grandmother is not doing well and I will again remember the words to this song.

3 months ago today, my boyfriend was killed by a drunk driver. I know that no matter how far away he seems, I know that he'll always be looking a down on me and smiling :) RIP Adam, I miss you more than anything in the world. And thanks Train for making a beautiful song like this!
