The new six for St Peters College Chapel, Johannesburg. 3 new Higby/Bowditch bells and three second hand (via The Keltek Trust). Being tested in the workshop of Matthew Higby & Co Ltd, before shipping to SA.

  • @combineharvestersam Yeah - 2-0-11 in F#. Quite pretty when they include a 1905 Mears & Stainbank and an 1887 Warner! Lol...

  • @snotrag1974 Well done, these sound nice. It it my imagination, or do these swing really slowly for a 2cwt six?

  • @fartwell2000 Actually - not a lot different. They are hung out with bigger wheels however - to simulate a heavier ring - ¢4cwt ish.

  • @dwigley1977 Timber pendulum sliders which engage with a peg on the wheels. Seems to work really well. Six steel wheels for less than the cost of one timber wheel :-)

  • Very sweet do they have stays?. I'd like to see wood boring insects they have out there have a go at those wheels!
