  • this song is not a Turkish song although it is from Ismyr. It is an Hellenic song by Hellens lived in Ismyr (Smirni) from ancien years till 1922

  • @StellasMousiki we did not said that this song was a Turkish song, only that it was recorded in Turkey !

  • @elvinmure In fact we're Gypsies yes, this Orchestra is composed only of Gypsy people from Budapest, this video was recorded in Turkey, this doesn't mean that we are Turkish people... so, you better document yourself before saying that...

  • @100violins thnx for your reply

  • @elvinmure No problem, we have plenty of videos if you want to know more about us, just click on our account.

Our Orchestra is known as : Budapest Gypsy Symphony Orchestra or Hundred (100) Gypsy Violins, that may be were your wrong interpretation ?

    Best Regards

  • this kind of music is a result of both of the people, the style of this music, (rembetiko - tsifteteli etc) has came from the arabs, passed to the otoman empire and there it was changed to a new style, the modern greek (laiko) and tuerkish music is a result of this music. it is very hard to say today and speek about greek or tuerkish music. I CALL IT BALKANIAN MUSIC.... or AEGEAN MUSIC, thank you.
