possibly the most underrated artist ever. It was his images alone (the photographs - not the graphic design) that sold the pixies albums and that made people receptive to them, in my not-so-humble opinion... they (the images) really brought another dimension to the music that made it so much more powerful. But I think the images got short shrift - falling under the shadow of the pixies' stardom. Simon was in my opinion the unsung force behind the power of the whole package.
