1987 honda cbr 600 f1 hurricane, custom built from parts ive made and bits and peices of a 73 kawasaki KH 250. designed and built to resemble a bobber chopper, its a modern cafe racer right down to the chrome fenders, single kawasaki headlight and out-turned clip on bars, this is the most radical 1987 cbr out there. exhaust and paint unfinished, updates next week.

edit: sick of being asked how an exhaust system works thats attatched to the swingarm. slipon mufflers dont fit tight to the midpipe, theres some play in that joint that allowed the muffler to move with the swingarm, it was a temporary fix only.

  • @nasalflute actually i rode it like that a bit, there was enough play between the slipon muffler and the midpipe that it worked. most people dont realize it but when youre actually riding the thing, your swingarm only moves a few inches at the most. it was a temporary solution either way.

  • @DaftPACman first bump he hits will bend that pipe

  • @DaftPACman it was like that for a day or two, it just worked on the play in the slipon muffler, it was never meant to stay that way.

  • how the heck do you attach an exhaust to the swingarm as the arm moves with the suspension?

a flexible exhaust pipe between the muffler and exhaust manifold?

  • @macneil1664 nope, still got her. she looks quite a bit different these days tho, and i dont ride her much as i mostly ride my old kawi chop.

  • Have you found a good replacment? I havent.. I have an 89 :) good bike. beats the Ninja of same year. lol
