@MrZilla999 They are evil, whether they were forced to enthusiastically run into battle gunning down civilians without mercy or not. The Nuremberg trials agree with me.

The governing body of one group of people doing something to another people years ago doesn't justify them being completely and utterly evil to those people and their own people(Watch the KZ3 Intro) forever.

They should get over the fact that they lost their planet and stop butchering EVERYONE they come across.

@MrZilla999 I'm just assuming that the "The Nazi Doppelgangers are the good guys" sentiment stems from some expanded universe book or something. Unless of course it was cited somewhere in the three primary games of course, but I don't think it was (correct me if I'm wrong, I never got the chance to play the first one)

Basically, if something goes so drastically against everything else in the series, to the point that the makers have to make something this OBVIOUS, then it isnt canon

@goodbyecat1 yes Visari made it into a dictatorship, but not all Helghast are evil, as shown in KZ1 and KZ2 (KZ1 with that Helghast turncoat and in 2 where the train driver stopped the train) and somewhere in the end of KZ3 a Helghast soldier says to the prisoners "nothing personal, just orders." and just because the ISA/UCA say "all Helghast are evil" just because the leaders are psycho, now that's just wrong. but I have to agree on the part where Helghasts have... extreme punishments

@AzariahKyras And it applies to literally ANY cutscene in which the Helghast have dialogue. If the Helghast are speaking or doing something in game, there's a 100% chance it's something completely reprehensible and evil, to help the players dislike them more.

IE Bombing their own city and blaming the ISA, shooting construction workers, killing people for uniform violations, executing dissenters, Killzone 3's ENTIRE opening cutscene (where Helghan is shown as a DICTATORSHIP).

And his followers are evil because of every single thing they do in every single game. Seriously, have you even played the games, or did you just read about all this backstory stuff? Watch any given video from the games. "Killzone 2: Templar's Death" for example, in the sidebar
