Amazing model train set. The scale is 1:450. That means a train carriage is 40 millimetres long and people are about 3.7 millimetres tall.
The scene is a fictional town on the coast of Japan. Set against the spectacular background of Mount Fuji, the town has a small harbour from where fishing boats go out to sea. An ancient pagoda stands on an island in the middle of the picturesque bay.
The layout is under construction. People, boats, cars, street furniture, and many other details are still to be added.
