First Lady Azeb holds talks with Malawian counterpart

http://newsdire.com -Addis Ababa First Lady Azeb Mesfin here on Saturday held talks with US Under Secretary of State, Maria Otero.

Azeb on the occasion expressed the wide range of activities being carried out by the government of Ethiopia to address problems of women.

She said the government is working to raise the school enrollment of girls, empower women as well as eliminate female genital mutilation (FGM) and women trafficking.

Otero on her part commended the positive results attained in addressing problems that affect girls success over the past four years.

She added her country is committed to support Ethiopias efforts to alleviate problems of women.

I have no poltical issue with Mrs. Azeb but, I suggest if she could go back to school and learn some ESL ?! She went to this meetings, and went to the stage as if she could read ! Oh God !
