This is my voice controlled LED sign made with a nerdkit from nerdkits.com and a whole bunch of LED's. It can be changed by calling my Google Voice account and leaving a voicemail.

  • that was super cool''''

i'm just wondering.... could you help me??

i would want to make something like that but as simple as it is''

using a voice recognition to light some led's..

  • Great idea

  • It takes 17 outputs to make this sign (5 rows, 12 columns - each column controls 2 LEDs). I'm not sure how many outputs you can get out of an Arduino. You should be able to just cut the length of the sign a bit if there aren't enough outputs.

  • It is an ATMega 168.

  • hell yea man, i love this stuff! innovation in its raw form :D keep on truckin' dude.

    -over 'n out

  • Wow, Great Job!!!!!

This is VERY, very cool. Do you have the code published anywhere online? I've been trying to figure out LED arrays and am interested to see what you did and how it works.
