You really can't deny Van Halen when they were at this stage of the game! Eddie, David and Alex ruled!!! It was 1981, and the fourth album of their career (Fair Warning), and they couldn't be touched! Setting the trend for every wanna be spandex clothed lead singer (Jani Lane, Vince Neil, Brett Michaels, etc.),virtuoso guitarist (Steve Vai, C.C. Deville, way too damn many to name, etc.) and drummers (Tommy Lee, Riki Rocket, etc.) .However Michael Anthony sucked, you'd never miss him!!!

@benchmat Sammy talks to much during a song, Dave is crazy, the notes he hits... he is van halen... Sammy Hagar is some dude who just simply sucked
