    Also, there is a notorious word (for men)

    called "nibai-gaeshi / bai-gaeshi."

    "Nibai" means twice/double.

    If you get 1000 yen chololate from a girl

    at Valentine's day, you must give her

    2000 yen chololate. If you get 5000 yen chocolate,

    you must say "sayonara" for your 10000 yen...

  • Not to mention some girls actually go and make the chocolate that they give out and not just buy it. ^_^ Some even make heart shaped chocolates. I have always liked the idea of alentine's day and white day.
