The real reason people don't like brother Paul's sermons, is because they feel convicted. This is a good thing!

I don't need Paul Washer to feel convicted.

The Holy Spirit does that better than any man.

I don't like Paul's sermons for 2 reasons: 1 he doesn't use the KJV, and 2. He preaches Unbiblical doctrine such as Lordship Salvation. If he fixed those 2 things, I'd probably start listening to him again.

He's very passionate, but he's just very wrong about some major doctrines, mixing up salvation with sanctification.

but to the other guy....YOUR SALVATION IS THROUGH FAITH AND REPENTANCE. What, God letting his ONE AND ONLY son sacrifice himself for the world and everyone in it for the future wasnt enough dude? Jesus died so he may bridge us to the Heavens and have eternal life. Its not that thats how special we are because Jesus did that, thats how pathetic we are that that event had to take place

So how do u know if u are saved? I'm tired of hearing diff answers 2 this question from diff pulpits. One says u need 2 b baptized w/ H2O, another says u just have 2 ask (not in quiet prayer mind u, but u have 2 SCREAM at the top of ur lungs), yet another says you'll know it b/c you're WHOLE life will change in an instant-good things will start happening, you'll lose the urge 2 sin, etc, still another says it doesn't matter if u ask b/c your salvation is predetermined, and on & on & on....sigh

Hey guys, have you ever thought that there is a difference between the church and the saved people, because theres a huge difference and you have to understand it in order to understand salvation itself!

@Jikkonizer Believing that Jesus is the Son of God is not the same as trusting him to be your savior. Everyone knows who Jesus is, that's why no one who goes to hell will be able to blame God for their own willful rejection of Christ.
