I did too! So many of the critics hated it but I thought it was the best she had ever looked! Mirren is stunning here but I preferred her Red Gown the following year at the oscars with the silver mesh sleeves, it was gorgrous!

I have to agree with you 100%.I mean what's with them like in every pre oscar show they did that.but i wasn't to happy to see Helen talking to Joan I hate her.I must say even thought a blind person can see that she was hottest person there.very very beautiful and elegant.

But, what was with all the screen minimization of Dame Helen to show other celebrities arriving on the red carpet? No offense, but everyone knew she truly WAS "the queen" of the Oscars in every sense of the word and, this seems a bit rude and insulting.
