actually I am strictly a no bar player, I have no problems getting a high score without the bar with 4x at 150 bpm. Back then I used to read everything on 1x, including a few 10's, but I can not now because higher speeds = higher scores for me, yes i'm spoiled by speed mods, i know :/

You'll probably find that you can't read as fast without the bar. That might hurt your FA, but come on, this is about fitness, not quadding songs. If someone can't pass a 9 footer on 1x overhead they don't know how to play lol

Actually that's a great point I didn't even think about. Spped mod is a major issue in fact, I play normaly on a 150 bpm song 4x. You know what would be funny? If every pad had a bar. Thank goodness that's not the case though heh.

Speed mod might be an issue though...I think the best idea is to have everybody pick what they would use normally (on overhead), and then average it. I'd probably still end up picking 1x just in case people read really fast though lol
