Aleutian geese are on their annual winter/spring trek from the Central Valley via the Pacific Flyway -- think of it as I-5 for birds -- to their nesting grounds in the Aleutian Islands in Alaska. They stop for a few months in Northern California and Southern Oregon to feed on grasses rich with protein, and huge numbers spend their nights in Myrtletown and the fields along Humboldt Bay.
Cool vid! You're doing great work! Im Aleutian-genic and irie for the occasion. Its definately "Wild Wonderful".
