The best performance on the 2009 CCTV Chinese New Year Celebration Concert goes to the Superband of Dai Yau Law, Jonathan Lee, Waking Chow and Zhang Zhen Yue. Their live performance was superb and perfect among a string of just acceptable singing performances! You have to watch it to admire their loveablility.

Superband ( 纵贯线 in Chinese) is a new band formed by Jonathan, Waking, Dai Yau and Zhen Yue. They plan to form the band for 1 year - 2009 and organize 30 concerts across the Taiwan, Mainland China and HK.

Jackie actually requested to join the band or sing a song with them but they are not so keen to give Jackie the chance, even though they are best friends of Jackie for a long time. After watching their first time public showcase, I can understand why. In terms of singing and live performance, they are just in a class of their own. Jackie is good but when compare to them, has a long way to go. Of course, Jackie is not a professional singer as he repeatedly said so himself, so we understand why.
