@domainphotography I guess it's just a minor fill-light. So the shadows on her right side doesn't get too sharp by the other flash. But I'm just guessing as I haven't really started with that yet :p

Just curious, what would the shot have looked like if the umbrella flash wasn't on? Was it that crucial to the shot? Thanks!

@khashy87 because the fastest possible flash sync is ~1/200 to 1/320 (depending on camera model) with those type of flashes. your only chance to shoot with open apertures in bright light is therefore using ND filters.

@khashy87 you cannot reduce ambient light with shutter speed if you are using a flash/strobe, only with aperture and ISO.
