Hi, I get really painful muscle cramps in my hand (the big Thumb muscle) it actually contacts in on itself ..I am also always hungry for sweet stuff & can only sleep for short periods, I am currently taking 10 mg of Olanzapine (2x5mg) & 100mg of sertraline, though as I have put on weight I was told recently that my olanzapine is to be changed..

Mark.. is that thing were you said you can not sit still the same thing as opiate withdrawals, because that's what happens to me when i get sick i wobble when i site.

@seeriktus I don't have a problem with my blood pressure but I do get involuntary muscle contractions which are sometimes painful, especially in the neck muscles. It sucks and they say the medications are supposed to help you function normally but all they do is cause more severe problems, like Tardive Dyskinesia, Dystonia, and Parkinson's Disease, which are permanent. That's why it's important to take these medications at low doses.

@VelaToNorma7 you may feel a little out of it but low dose abilify doesn't have the hormonal effects or neurlogical effects that other antipsychotics have.
-
What happens when you take Abilify when you really don't need it?
-
So these are 'neurologic' side effects- extrapyrimidal symptoms only for these really.. That excludes cognitive/affective side effects like senility/blunted affect or physiological side effects like hypotension.
