mine loads in less than 10 seconds from DVD *proud* but i have 4gigs of ddr ram, 2 8800 GTX SLI graphics cards 1.5gigs or video graphics memory *proud* and a western digital raptor HDD (the hdd makes all the difference in load speeds)

It all depends on seettings, if its on low it will load in seconds, maxed ou (how i play) it takes a bit longer. And a game such as BF2 or BF2142 (same engine) HDD speed has allot to do with it.

Mine tends to load a bit faster than that, but not by to much. I usually am the first to load into the map though so I don't care.

when u start the game by puttin cd in the drive and open and start joinin a server it takes a bit long but after thet when u disconnet from the server and play in another whichever server u like it loads fast. So it takes abit time to load when u start the game at first.
