Fucking incredible song...

A pair of glasses, a pension and a guitar, I think I'm sorted, well apart form the tallent that is. But what the hell, he's not stopping, so we shouldn't either

@spudcustardx1 When I saw him live five times throu the 70's I always thought he was singing that line from "All the Young Dudes' about the guy in the glasses to me. Still love the man and his music: hope to somehow catch him on his North American Tour on at present. And I got my new guitar this past week just to play songs like this: Thank You Mr Hunter.

Ian has ALWAYS been a prolific song writer-
for those of you who have missed the 70's I recommend you check out
his band 'Mott the Hoople" - Thank God music does indeed still survive ..

Ian is better than ever...and that is saying something.

The whole Shrunken Head album is great. I cant say I was a big hunter fan but what an album, what a song.

@sunboy1000 Thank you! what a great comment! You are right on the money. I'm a fan since '73
-
this should be given to every young kid so that there can listen to real song writing
-
Age, loss, change, surrender... it's all here. Thank you, dear Ian.

Amazing song. Hunter is friggin 70 years old and can still write amazing stuff. "There's too much information, but not enough to go on...." He's a goddam genius.
