I volunteered for Al all summer, videotaping him in parades and at the State Fair. I've never been very politically active, and volunteering was an opportunity to find out more about Franken and the people who support him. This video is just a simple experiment: walk up to people and ask them who they support. This stuff about "lock-step weaknesses"--well, I dunno...if you say so...

I do wish for Al to win (though if he didn't maybe we'd get him back on the radio :P), but this video is so propagandistic with its repetitive clips of middle-Americans just saying Franken's name over and over again that it makes me nervous. Where is the indepth analysis of the Coleman's failings and of Franken's platform? This sadly appeals to sheep only.

Please, oh please, let Al win! This is the first candidate outside of my state or national office I have ever sent money to. Al Franken is the only one worthy of the great Wellstone seat.

I respect and enjoy Al, listened regularly to his show on Air America, & would vote for him if in Mn, but this video is opposite his intelligent discourses on the policies of the day. Just stringing together all the clips of people stating their preference for Franken without more deeply exploring their reasons appeals to the same lock-step weaknesses exploited by the far Right for years.
