I love both hip hop and reggae.. to be specific east coast hip hop and roots reggae but clashing them is an abomination, I mean I like the mixing of the two as hip hop has roots in jamaican toasting but the themes don't go.. the gun talk and the sacred sound of dub??

who? I spin dub and this isn't "new" more than hip hop has come full circle. Hip hop came from the essence of dudes toasting over "dubs" or instrumental versions of reggae hits. Why even deconstruct it? Just play a dub (there are a million), and toast over it.
