From the LP 'Out Of Nowhere', that track, as requested. The answer is Pye/Ariola and the LP was ARL5021 and produced by David Courtney. Gallagher and Lyle plus ex Stealers Wheel members also appear on this album.

  • Met Joe when he visited Radio Victory in Portsmouth to promote the single and the album. Got a signed copy of the single which i still have. The song has been a favourite since that day and i often find myself humming it. Its one of the best songs of the seventies.

  • @Gilesfly - Thanks very much for sharing your memories of the song. Just wish I had spent a bit more time on the video back when I first uploaded this track, but was still learning the art of videomaking. Appreciated your time, the whole album is now uploaded on You Tube I believe. Cheers Steve :-)

  • I used to have this on vinyl. I love Joe. Thanks so much for posting this. I'm on reverbnation too I'll fan you.

  • @keifer50 - It was a pleasure and thanks, Steve :-)

  • Dear phivosify, just browsed through, found freeze. Well, thank you for sharing. (Got to vinyl copies of both of this Artists output) - Do you realize that the song runs about 4% too fast? - Nice touch.

  • @moondance2 - Hi Moondance, the 4% is probably due to the condenser here, nothing to do with me, when I upload our Stage Parades songs to Myspace and Reverbnation, the same thing happens, we lose about 2 seconds a minute. Glad you liked the upload. Steve :-)

  • Joe was a great singer and songwriter and should have had a successfull solo career as well as Gerry. Such a great loss to music when he stepped out of the music business.

  • @nereovive Nice to find some people here who appreciate Joe Eagan even though he is a a fairly unknown musician nowadays. He starred for a while in the seventies with Stealers wheel. To bad they split up back then.

  • Thanks for posting these tunes from one of the best albums of all time! It's criminal that it is not available on CD. This is one of those albums that you play and drift away. I only have it on a CDR (each track from various sources of variable quality) but it is still amazing. I wish I had the sortware and knowhow to make a CD from your posts! Thanks again.
