  • My border is called Hardy and scared burglars off who were trying to break into my garage a couple of years ago. Saved me a fortune.

He's scared of the Severn Valley steam train though. If he hears the whistle he runs off. He must think the train is going to come and get him. :)

This morning he chased some deer in the Wyre forest (UK).

  • "Borders are barkers" - i've had mine for 7 months now and he's only barked around 5 times and sometimes when he sleeps. Every border is different <3

  • Narrow shoulders? Are there some kind of broad shouldered dogs on steroids or something? What kind of dogs has broad shoulders?

  • My wife & I wanted a Border Terrier for about 22 years now, but just could not save the money to buy one. Well we settled for a crossed one, he is a great son & varmits know he is there - mice, rats, opposums, raccoons removal is his job & he does it fine! We would still love to get a pure one someday.

  • This describes my border terrier! Especially

    "Cronic chewers" -.-

  • 1:20 i would love to give you some more kisses

  • borders are great dogs, we got ours at 10 weeks old. He has a great personality and im surprised how clever he is. Only problem is they chew ANYTHING, even on humans so we use a squirt bottle on him if he bites too hard or eats furniture :P. They are attention seekers too so will whimper and cry to get it, just ignore it but always make sure there isn't anything else wrong before you dismiss wimpering as attention seeking behaviour. Just stuff i learnt from the past
