Some say that wrestlers can beat strikers because they can grapple their legs and drop them. That's true but not all them can, only some. So There's really no such thing as that fighting style is better than that one. It All just depends on how very skilled you are or not.

@darnit006 Same here but not 10 years lol. Did you wrestle Greco, freestyle, or Folkstyle. I prefer the freestyle throws and takedowns that I know. I do however train to defend against strikes, though my strike offense isn't as good. With the speed of a wrestlers shot, you can easily duck the punch and get a leg for a takedown. Not to mention all the wrestler has to do is get in where he can grab and its pretty much over.

im proud to be a wrestler. ive wrestled 10 years, but ill admit that because wrestlers dont train strikes, thats a weak spot for me. ive been training on some jiu jitsu which greatly improved my submissions. i am great at takedowns and throws and its not difficult to close the gap without taking too many hits so i usually put a fight on the ground really fast. if anyone gives up their back to me, its over because i can leg ride all day and ill get that rear naked choke

@momo200090 and wrestlers do have a problems take me down because I have a powerfull kick's and punches cuz I'm big guy (6.5ft 230pounds) if they try rumble me down I can use strikes! every time when they try it they get a hit! even 1 elbow strike can make a wicked cut!

@momo200090 actually I have a fight with wrestlers and he get a beated! because wrestlers don't train strikes or submissions, I DO! because I'm MMAfighter, I have training MMA about 3years and just saying that every real MMAfighter can Beat wrestler. Wrestler do have a good groundskills and good takedowns but if they can't punch,kick or take submission, can you tell me how they gonna beat me? take me down and fight is over? I don't think so dude :)
