i experienced the same recognition about V for Vendetta and amazingly also The Matrix with Conversations With God, and therefore off course with a lot of old religious tellings. By that saying, I don't believe the makers from the movies based their ideas persé on CWG nesseceraly. For me however, these two medium seem to the word to the same ideas of God.
