Carrying the book around school, it draws a lot of attention. When I show them that it's signed, they are even more impressed.

Well honestly I love the simplicity of the cover. I just think its nice, and it definately has that sort of timeless quality to it, and again as you say here, it is bold. if I didn't know what it was, and saw the cover in a shop. I would pick it up because its different, its unique. I have the current English edition of Looking for Alaska (the one with the heart under water), and everyone who I have shown it too, loves the cover, because it is different.
