A quick tour of my first apartment in Tokyo. This building is a serviced apartment and is very conveniently located. It's expensive, though. I couldn't live with myself if I stayed here for longer than I did, so I have moved. If you would like to know more about this place, the agency's website is here:

The staff were very friendly and accommodating and the whole process was extremely, extremely easy. I guess you get what you pay for (in some ways). This place came with dishes, cleaning supplies, and instructions for how to use everything in the apartment. It was small, but new, clean, and extremely convenient. This room ran 150,000 yen a month.

  • It's not a normal apartment. But the rent sounds reasonable. Who says everything is expensive in Tokyo?

  • The rent added up to about $1500/month. Probably a good price as far as serviced apartments go, but for an unpaid intern...waaaaay too much.

  • Eh, there's a separate toilet room with no sink? The video was interesting, thanks!

  • Tokyo is awesome but as a westerner I've never managed to fit into the baths

  • That vent in the bathroom is awesome. I put my clothes on the shower curtain rail to dry them, but I don't have a fancy vent. I would kill for that thing!

  • why didnt you open the fridge?, im curious about what you eat there since its not your country.

  • Seems like there's more room to move in your new place. I don't know how I'll go living in a Japanese apartment.. my house is big!

  • your movie is awesome. I made one too but your version with the music is the bomb! Best of luck with everything!

  • You could have hooked your computer to the tv =P

  • HOLY MOTHER thats alot of rent. Sadly when I lived in Tokyo my option was Guesthouses, I mean i met great people but i did want my own place. If i wanted my own place I woulda ended up in like...somewhere in the boonies on the Chuo line or....Saitama.. Ha~ oh saitama.

where are u moving to now?

  • I just wanted to say that you're sexy
