@MrAlex0262 Both. Ray and Robbie teamed up to use DOORS material without paying John or the Morrison family. John Densmore won 5 million dollars in a lawsuit against Rob and Ray. Oh, and btw Jim Morrison faked his death and is alive living under the name Bill Loyer.

@iggypoprhcp ..I dont imagine youll ever see this since your post is1 yr. old but i wanted to say that its so cool to read someone elses' comment who agrees with me that it was JOHN, that love, missed, & resepected Jim the most.i've read similar articles recently on John's views about the Doors performing.I read he wouldnt mind them playing gigs as much if theyd go by another name & not cash in on the name Doors John also didnt like anyone singing in Jims place except Eddie Vedder (Pearl Jam)
I respect John the most out of the 3 remaining Doors.

I read an article years ago (if I can find it I will post it) in this article it was stated that because Ray & Robbie wanted to do the reunion tour and John didn't. Then John was portrayed as the one who hated Jim. He doesn't he just felt the reunion tour was direspectful of Jim. He had said he didn't mind a few gigs in honor of Jim, but not to make it a permanent thing. That's what I remember, I'll try to locate the article.
