Enci was on a mission that had taken us from City Hall to New Farm to River Walk to South Bank, all on a journey to find the water reclamation parks that the Brisbane City Council built to reclaim, clean, divert, infiltrate, and conserve water.
Late at night on our last night in Australia, we came across the Roma Street Parkland, the world's largest city centre subtropical garden.
Beautifully tiered, the bio-basins and swales and drainage are all artfully landscaped so that the genius of water conservation is the foundation of the park!
ooo man, I'm from Brisbane and you were SO game to be there at night! :P I'm glad you are safe!
