1. This Week in Worship, Christmas Through Mary's Eyes, The Cross

In Romans 5 Paul wrote, We have peace with God through our Lord Jesus ChristFor while we were still weak, at
the right time Christ died for the ungodlyGod proves his love for us in that while we still were sinners Christ died for
us. As Mary stood at the foot of the cross, helpless and unable to save her son, it is just possible, as she
remembered the events of the first Christmas morning, that she began to understand that while she could not save
him, his suffering would save her, and all of humankind.

2. Children's Ministry, Advent Pizza and Praise: December 6th at 5 - 6:30 PM This is a great way to slow down and enjoy some family time during the busy holiday season. We will have pizza, family worship, and Advent activities including missions and crafts. Bring children's activity items, including crossword puzzles, coloring books, crafts, stickers, etc., for our mission project. Invite your family and friends! Please let Casey (caseytorrence@gmail.com or 370-3565) know if you plan to attend.

3. Christmas Musical, Saturday December 12 and Sunday December 13, 6:30 PM.
Don't miss this year's Christmas musical/drama! The music is beautiful and will be sung by our Trinity, Cherub, Youth, and Sanctuary Choirs. An inspiring play is interwoven throughout the musical. Entitled, "Only Love," this presentation will surely prepare you for the coming of our Lord!

4. Welcome Crystal Varner, Our New Youth Pastor

7. Don't Forget to Turn in Estimate of Giving Cards!
If you have not turned in your estimate of giving card for this year bring it to worship this week. Our estimate of giving helps the Finance Committee set an accurate ministry budget for the coming year. This allows us to make the most of every dollar given to the church. On a personal level, the commitment card is an opportunity for you to spend time in prayer and reflection, considering what offering you would make to God through our church in the coming year. You can fill an estimate of giving card online by clicking here.
