An interpretation of the short story by Kate Chopin. Executed for a college production class. Shot on a 16mm Bolex, with the help of many others. Pretty sentimental, a little tongue-in-cheek, and also, embarrassing—at least I had a chance to use real film.
Huh? Josephine was the sister in the story; Louise is the name of Brently's wife. I can see "artistic license" in wanting to change things up; but you don't change the male names (except that Richards is changed to Richard). The literalization--"Free of him",which is more implicit than explicit--doesn't help matters either.
