I agree to your opinion concerning many of the german audiobooks but if you´re on search for well performed german readings you might possibly want to listen to my versions of the Sherlock Holmes adventures? If i can´t fullfill your expectations it cost´s a minute of your life to discover, but if you love what i have to offer there are fifteen Holmes available for you at the time (and more).

This is a librivox recording and thus some sort of "automatic reading". The idea is i.e. making literature available for people who can´t read. There seems to be no ambition in performing.
Would you allow me to ask if you speak/understand the german language too? If so you might possibly like my own readings of the Sherlock Holmes adventures (and more). Those are ... performed, not just read.
My kindest regards your faithful servant

Reading could certainly be a lot better. Sound like a automatic voice as you sometimes find. But, it's good for my English! [being Dutch and everything...]

Great English accent broseph. Pretty much ruined one of the greatest tales within if the first five seconds. Good idea though to create an audio book.
