錦田樹屋_香港榕樹篇1 Chinese Banyan Tree in Hong Kong 1: Kam Tin Tree House

錦田樹屋，位於香港元朗錦田水尾村遊樂場側，其獨特之處在於由一株結構複雜的巨大老榕樹包圍著一間石屋，保有香港多個紀錄，並且見證了清初下達遷界令（又名遷海令）的一段­歷史。
該株老榕樹屬細葉榕，樹幹直徑為6000毫米，是香港之最；樹木高度為16.5米；樹冠達42米，樹齡方面則至少超過150年。
樹屋的典故加上獨特的形態遂使其成為香港本土的一個郊外旅遊勝地。
Kam Tin Tree House is located at the Shui Mei Tsuen Playground of Kam Tin,Yuen Long,Hong Kong. This amazing tree is completely enveloped a brick house inside. The tree keeps lots of Hong Kong records. It has witnessed the "Order of Great Clearance" of the Ching Dynasty.
This is a Chinese banyan tree. It is over 6000mm in diameter, the no. 1 among the trees in Hong Kong. Its height is 16.5 meter and the tree crown 42 meters, and it is over 150 years old.
Due to the story of the tree and its flourishing appearance, many Hong Kong locals come to enjoy its beauty during weekends.
