  • I've been in a few classes that use interactive white boards / projectors, etc. -- they just get in the way of learning. -- it's much easier to follow a lecture when the proff is writing as he's speaking. -- good old chalkboard ftw.

  • This explains why I didn't got to MIT....

  • ehm ich hab was unanständiges entdeckt

  • Very good one. Excellent reference.

  • at the end he says something about imaginary numbers to rescue the value of that integral calculated naively ...which turns out to be negative... what did he mean?? anyone knows?

  • I am intoxated by just the name of MIT! I am intensely in love with MIT! I am not just rich enough to be known as part of MIT! And also smartness..wel..I just dont work as hard....

  • My teacher makes me hate calculus, this classes make me love it back again!!! ♥

    Thanks MIT!!!

  • @frozenyetimaster Let me refer you to this video:

    Lec 8 | MIT 5.95J Teaching College-Level Science and Engineering, Spring 2009

    ^ YouTube that.

It has everything that is needed to be said.

  • @EgoSumIndigentia

You can't show a class of sixty students a graph on your laptop monitor -.-

  • @frozenyetimaster You just use a computer then. -.-

Nothing beats chalkboard for explaining concepts.

  • @GRNoam

What do you think they do with the interactive white board? I respect your opinion but I find that the "Smart Board" makes the class more interesting so you don't get distracted and it has many features that can help you understand; I'd like to see someone watch a movie on a black board or display a graph, chart, diagram etc.

  • wow i am glad that i go to a university where they give the notes after the class because i would not be able to copy ALL of that.

i would get flustered and throw my pencil.
